What We Do

Relationship Equality Foundation hosts educational awareness programs form both the immediate non-monogamous community, its allies, professionals that serve the community,  and the general public.  Additionally we assist and empower other organizations to do similar work in their own communities by providing guidance, funding, and or other support.

Some of our programs include:

Atlanta Poly Weekend: 

Atlanta Poly Weekend is a family-friendly three day conference focusing on education, activism, and social networking for polyamorous people and their supporters. This year’s conference is June 1-3, 2017 and will take place at the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel.

Professional Education Workshop Events:

ProEd holds one-day workshops designed to educate therapists, counselors, and other mental health professionals who seek to learn about diverse relationship structures and techniques to serve clients with varied lovestyles. This workshop provides Continuing Education units to qualified mental health providers.  For more information please visit our website.


Educational Empowerment Program:

EEP assists organizations and local level community provide educational events through financial, logistical, and educational support. We offer educators, sponsorship, experienced event organizers, and additional resources. For more information please contact our Vice-President .


Community Spotlight Program

Community Spotlight Program is a program by which each month REF will highlight one community, group, organization, or individual in the community that is working for the betterment of the community at large. Those chosen for the CSP will be listed on the REF website for one month featured on our Homepage with a short Bio and link to their organization.   They will also be on our Community spotlight page with full bio and links.
Future plans for this program include expansion for  organizations to be put into a pool and one organization each year will be featured at our annual conference with scholarship for admission, advertising on our website, community advertising table, mention during the opening and closing ceremonies and other perks.

**An entity does not need to be nominated to participate. REF may, at its discretion, choose an entity that has not applied, been nominated or otherwise voluntarily entered into the program. If this happens REF will notify the entity and explain the program and obtain the entity’s consent to feature them .
